THE ART OF KRAV MAGA KAPAP

Krav Maga Kapap  is a self-defence system, a line of Krav Maga developed under the sole principle of giving a real operational solution to any possible aggression; empty handed, hand with knife or other implement, or firearm. It can help you defend against one, or several aggressors. In short, it is the definitive answer in the field of personal, police or military defence.

What makes Krav Maga Kapap so effective is Its simplicity - where the most natural of reactions prevail and provide the maximum defence, causing as much damage as possible, in the shortest time with minimum risk.

In our newly renovated fitness centre in Scarborough, you can learn the craft and skills of this tactical martial art.

The history of Krav Maga

Krav Maga is based on our most primitive and natural human instincts. The Hebrew word “krav” translates to “struggle” and was first used in the Old Testament when Isaac wrestled with Gabriel, the angel of death. Although a vast number of Krav Maga building block techniques have existed for thousands of years, the more modern self-defense system that we know today was developed and fine-tuned during the second World War and Israel’s War of Independence.

Born in 1910 in Budapest, Hungary, Emerich “Imi'' Lichtenfeld (Sde-Or), grew up in Bratislava, Czechloslavakia. His father, Samuel Lichtenfeld, joined a professional circus troupe, and he quickly became highly skilled in both wrestling and boxing. Whilst developing his great understanding in fitness training he also spent time learning wrestling, boxing, and mixed-skill fighting, Samuel joined the Czech police as a detective and led the force in arrests.

Team Martin Luna (TML) X No Limits Martial Arts take on and complete Tough Mudder 2021.

TML UK No Limits Martial Arts & Fitness Centre took on and completed the Tough Mudder course this summer. We had an immense amount of fun, enjoyed the team building aspect of it, and most importantly, raised in excess of £6,000 for The No Limits Foundation - supporting local good causes.

In addition to this, we're so proud of our younger members who helped raise money by taking part in Tough Mudder's Lidl Mudder.
